In a groundbreaking move for South Sydney’s urban logistics, LOGOS, in partnership with Perpetual Corporate Trust Limited, is set to redefine warehousing and distribution with a visionary development at 297 King Street in Mascot.

LOGOS is proposing a 5-storey warehouse and distribution centre with 31,266 sqm of gross floor area. This includes a 26,145 sqm warehouse, 5,121 sqm of office space and a café in the King Street lobby. The structure, rising to a height of 45 metres, is designed to operate 24/7, catering to the fast-paced logistics industry.

Strategically positioned near Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, the project integrates cutting-edge design, sustainability and cultural storytelling, setting a new benchmark for multi-level industrial facilities in Australia.

Site Context Map

Perpetual purchased the site (known as QF3A and QF3B) and nearby land parcels in King Street and Coward Street (referred to as QF1, QF2 and QF4) from Qantas in late 2021. The consolidated landholding comprises a total of 137,565 sqm.

By way of history, in April 2022, Qantas was required to vacate the Qantas flight training centre within the Jetbase at Sydney Airport to enable its demolition and construction of the Sydney Gateway Project. The gateway project provides for improved connections to Sydney Airport and Port Botany by increasing the capacity of the surrounding road and rail network and provide an alternative route to the domestic and international airport terminals.

A new flight training centre at 297 King Street was approved as a major DA in November 2019. However, due to the economic impacts of COVID-19, the plans were shelved. LOGOS seized the opportunity to repurpose the space, transforming it into a hub for modern logistics and distribution.
