Minns Government gets on with the job of delivering vital and highly anticipated school infrastructure in Sydney’s growing suburbs.

Edmondson Park High School will be located next to Edmondson Park Public School on the corner of Buchan Avenue and Faulkner Way, which opened to students at the start of the year, while further facilities have now been completed for students to enjoy from the first day of term 3. This includes 16 learning spaces and outdoor game courts.

Concept plan of the new high school

The new facility will be a traditional school build that will accommodate up to 800 students. Previous master planning indicated the 30,000 square metre site could accommodate up to 2000 students, subject to future enrolment demand in the area.

The Edmondson Park community has been calling for a traditional school to be built on the subject site owned by the NSW Government, rather than a high-rise, mixed-use facility in the town centre, as considered by the former NSW Liberal Government.
