In addition to a flurry of new schools being proposed in the North West Growth Area, a new public school for 600 K-6 students is being proposed by School Infrastructure NSW on Lot 2, Macquarie Road in Rouse Hill.
With the State significant DA being under assessment by the NSW Planning Department, on delivery, the school will be contained within a 3-storey building that runs east-west along the Macquarie Road frontage. The school will comprise state-of-the-art administration and teaching facilities, shared learning spaces, a library, multi-purpose hall, support unit and outdoor learning spaces.
The new public school will support an emerging suburb, accommodating a mix of low, medium and high-density residential development. The DA follows the NSW Government’s $8.8 billion investment in school infrastructure, with the goal of delivering 160 new and upgraded schools to support emerging communities across NSW.
