Penrith Council gives the nod to Isaac Property Group to construct three food and drink premises on a vacant site at 578 Great Western Highway in Claremont Meadows, comprising:
The approval also includes subdivision of one lot into two Torrens title lots, with one of the lots to be subject to a future DA.
The development aims to provide convenient food and drink services to pass by trade along the busy Great Western Highway and residents located within proximity of the site.
The site is situated immediately on the southern side of Great Western Highway and adjoins a commercial centre immediately to the east which comprises of a 24/7 service station, car wash and McDonald’s.
Valued at $4.5 million, the proposal will serve up Penrith’s third Starbucks, with the American coffee house already trading at Westfield and the newly established food hub on Castlereagh Road in North Penrith.
Similarly, Oporto has premises at Westfield, North Penrith and Glenmore Park, while the proposal would take the city’s KFC count to 9.
