In 2019, the NSW Department of Planning and Environment approved an application for construction of an entertainment facility at 2 – 64 Steer Road in Gregory Hills.
With promises to be the largest cinema screen in the region, the entertainment complex will be 4-storeys tall with 9 cinema screens.
The precinct will include more than 6000sqm of indoor recreation space, potentially home to arcade-style games and soft play areas for kids, transforming the cinema complex into a stand-alone entertainment precinct.
Having constraints at Narellan Town Centre over 10 years ago in terms of screen sizes, this facility allows United Cinemas to have much larger screens.
Construction is expected to start in early 2023 and will take about 18 months to complete.
Gregory Hills is apart of the Greater Macarthur Growth Area and is 44km from the Sydney CBD.
