Mulpha – the developer of a significant portion of Norwest – is set open a major outdoor recreational and entertainment centre at 2 – 6 Norbrik Drive in Bella Vista on 15 November 2023.

What is planned at Swing City is a golf facility, comprising a 2 x storey golf driving range and 18-hole minigolf centre. Each bay at the driving range will feature modern golf ball tracking technology to allow players to improve their swing and compete in various challenges.

Complementary to this will be an entertainment zone that will offer axe throwing, a shooting gallery and a small game zone, together restaurants and an alfresco dining area.

A fairly recent modification application by Mulpha indicates strong demand for the facility, with the developer more than doubling the number of permitted patrons from 250 to 575.

Circa Estate development concept

There are limited licensed sporting venues in Norwest and Mulpha’s project will cater for families who make up close to 65% of the population in the Hills area. Swing City will tap a growing demand from people to enjoy outdoor activities in a family-friendly setting.

Swing City will reside within the Circa Estate, which proposes 290,000 square metres of commercial development, 30,000 square metres of additional hospital development a seniors housing complex with over 450 apartments.

Norwest Business Park is a 300-hectare land parcel located within Norwest and Bella Vista. It was established in 1983 and the business park has evolved from semi-rural farmlands into one of Sydney’s largest business parks that is home to over 400 companies employing over 25,000 people.

Norwest is a strategic growth centre where residents are expected to increase to 20,000 people over the next decade, while workers are expected to increase to 60,000 and visitors to 10,000. Additionally, the NSW Government is projecting Norwest to grow to over 2000 companies over the next decade.
