Developer Mirvac has unveiled a subdivision proposal to add 107 homes to the ‘Cobbitty by Mirvac’ residential estate plans. This development goes hand-in-hand with a strategic land swap agreement made with Macarthur Anglican School, exchanging about 3000 sqm of the school’s land.
The agreement will achieve a better integrated and orderly development of the land by enabling a portion of the school’s land to be developed for housing.
The 8-hectare housing estate is located 2km from Oran Park Town Centre, spanning from 13 Pottery Street to 589 and 591 Cobbitty Road. The subdivision plan includes 93 residential lots, nine roads and a vacant lot designated for a future park, promising a blend of urban living and green spaces.
Mirvac’s 900 home greenfield estate
Mirvac’s estate will deliver an all-electric community of 900 homes and create more than 4000 jobs during construction. The estimated completion value is $648 million.
Additional master plan features include a playing field and village green, a town centre, a lake and a range of parks and landscaped open spaces. Nature will also take centre stage with existing wetland corridors to be restored as a safe haven for native flora and fauna; and extensive networks of walking trails and cycleways planned to promote connectivity and connection to nature through the neighbourhood.
