Sydney’s tech precinct has been further bolstered by the approval from City of Sydney for Central Place Sydney – a JV between Frasers and Dexus.
Central Place Sydney will introduce more than 130,000sqm of commercial floor space to the surrounding area, offering the largest premium-grade workplace available in Tech Central.
The building design features two towers expressed as three forms – 35 and 37 levels of commercial office and an 8-storey low-rise building, known as ‘The Connector’ to enliven the precinct at street level.
Along with neighbouring Atlassian Central and Toga’s proposed development, Central Place Sydney will create greatly improved outdoor landscaped spaces for workers and visitors, as well as an expanded retail offering and elevated connections between neighbouring communities, allowing pedestrians to flow efficiently through and within the sub-precinct.
Subject to securing final stage approvals from the NSW government, construction is expected to commence in 2023 with the first stage of the projected to be delivered by 2027.
